jumping off from what you said about scarcity and interfaith relationships: it's been interesting to me to notice the mindset of scarcity in relation to interfaith marriages, how the more traditional/mainstream view has been how there's one+ less Jew when in the abundance mindset/view it's adding more Jews in! (whether halachically or not; people are people and deserve respect and kindness)
